Paired with social, OOH, radio, and all the other campaign trimmings, the Avengers Campus launch campaign was a heroic success. Fingers crossed for a sequel or twelve.

MARVEL x DISNEYLAND: HEROES ASSEMBLE

Avengers Campus was coming to Disneyland, and with it, the chance for park guests to embrace their inner hero and train alongside the Avengers themselves.

Our opening date? Summer 2020. You can guess how that worked out.

We were faced with a challenge: make a launch campaign created in 2019 (with zero masks and massive crowds in nearly every shot) work within our strict COVID advertising protocols. Think of our footage like humankind, and the protocols like the blip. Suddenly, half the spot was gone.

So, like a certain familiar band of heroes, we assembled.

With some clever rewriting, narrative re-crafting, creative editing, and even a little CGI mask-adding, we were able to save the day. Or at least the campaign.
